About Us
Founded in 2006 as Resources Unlimited, HR Quest has since grown into a leading international workforce solutions provider specialising in the Energy, Process, Maritime, Construction, and Finance industries. From our roots as a manpower services company, HR Quest added Procurement, Global Mobility, and In-Country Support to its repertoire of services, before scaling up to be a Total Solutions Provider following its rebrand in 2011.
Today, the HR Quest Group comprises of 5 specialist companies tailored for each specific core industry. We hold ourselves to the highest standards, conducting our businesses professionally and ethically everywhere we go – a trait that’s remained unchanged from the beginning.
Our Vision
To become a global market leader in talent recruitment, procurement and integrated services, built on the tenets of reliability, integrity, professionalism, and result-driven.
Our Mission
We strive to build winning long-term relationships with our clients through offering customised, innovative, and responsible workforce and industrial support solutions. HR Quest also seeks to be not only a top global solutions provider to its clients, but also an employer of choice for its talented and growing pool of employees.
Safety & Compliance
At HR Quest, we understand that safety and business objectives are not mutually exclusive. A safe and healthy work environment is a fundamental right for every member of the workforce, and we strive to cultivate the right safety culture that’s focused on prevention of injuries and minimising health risks, as opposed to reactive measures.
The International Labour Organisation has demonstrated that the most competitive countries are also the safest globally, and at HR Quest we’re committed to upholding these values to ensure we help achieve Vision Zero, where everyone can go home safe.
Supporting Singapore's Vision Zero Journey
Committed towards a safer and healthier workplace, we subscribe to the Singapore national WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) vision and strategy. We believe that every company should embrace Vision Zero, where every accident is preventable, and we can achieve this vision with the commitment of all stakeholders – employers, workers, unions and the government. To attain this, HR Quest has in place a continual improvement framework to manage its HSE risks and to spread its HSE messages.
Compliance with international standards
As part of our continuous drive towards HSE excellence, HR Quest continually benchmarks ourselves against leading international safety standards and best practices. We comply with all applicable legal requirements, industry standards, best practices, contractual requirements and corporate initiatives. This is fully supported through the continual improvement of an Integrated Management System that operates in line with the requirements of ISO9001:2008, OHSAS18001:2007 & ISO14001:2004.
“The safe way is the right and only way”
Global Contractor Management System
HR Quest subscribes to global contractor management vendors such as Avetta and ISNetworld. These companies communicate safety standards throughout capital-intensive industries and provide systems for their subscribers to store documents and measure their safety statistics. They also provide a method of evaluation and communication between companies and their vendors, connecting clients with safe contractors. This ensures our HSE provision is compliant wherever we operate.
Diversity & Inclusion
We value the diverse nature of the wider society in which we operate, and strive to create a harmonious environment that harnesses the power that diversity brings. Our initiatives are purposefully designed to attract, engage, and retain multinational and multicultural talent critical to our globally connected business — beyond race, religion and/or any dimension of diversity. We are a pledged supporter of the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) since 2011.
HR Quest is also proud to be a support of gender equality in our industry – being the only manpower solutions provider in Geoje, Korea to have a well-balanced gender workforce in the energy sector since 2013.
Giving Back To The Community
At HR Quest, we strongly believe in giving back. As we continue to expand our presence to new territories and engage with local communities, we find meaningful ways to help and support local culture, economy, and ecosystems. Corporate social responsibility for us goes beyond organisational philanthropy – it is in fact, a quest. Some of our efforts include:
Enriching and empowering the locals
At HR Quest, we believe in supporting the local community through fair employment practices, and enriching employees in their quest to upgrade their skillsets. Our flexi-leave policy, flexible work schedule, and program sponsorships allow them to enrol in enrichment courses and engage in community volunteer activities.
To better support working mothers, HR Quest has created a supportive program for childbirth leave, working from home, as well as arrangements for new mothers to be at work with their infants, empowering them to continue working in a comfortable, inclusive environment. This movement has been well received by all, including recognition from clients’ management teams, and we’re proud to continue championing such meaningful and empowering initiatives.
The Lighthouse Club
HR Quest is proud to have become a patron of The Lighthouse Club, a not-for-profit organisation that promotes fellowship and co-operation amongst all members of the construction industry. The club’s aim is to also develop a Benevolent Fund to provide financial assistance to victims of accident or illness within the construction industry, and to their dependents where a fatal accident has occurred.
